Pike County Children and Youth Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated candidate to share your knowledge and expertise as a County Casework Supervisor. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a County Casework Supervisor, you will supervise the provision of case management services to children, youth, and families, individuals who have physical and intellectual disabilities, and others to provide assistance in attaining a more satisfactory social, economic, emotional, and/or physical adjustment. This specialized work involves supervising and training a small group of professional county social service workers, in addition to managing a caseload depending on operational need. You will also be responsible for assigning and reviewing the work of interns and coordinating training with college/university staff. In addition, you may also provide supervision to paraprofessional human service workers and clerical staff. Duties are performed in accordance with established regulations, policies, and procedures, while exercising considerable initiative and comprehensive independent judgment in achieving objectives. Work is reviewed by a professional or administrative supervisor through conferences, reports, and results attained.
