Job Summary:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing the full cycle of recruitment and developing initiatives to enhance employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Develop and maintain a talent pipeline through various sourcing channels such as job boards, social media, career fairs, and employee referrals.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
• Conduct initial interviews and assessments to shortlist candidates for hiring managers.
• Coordinate and facilitate interview schedules, feedback sessions, and candidate follow-up communications.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and hiring statuses.
Employee Engagement:
• Develop and implement employee engagement programs and initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and workplace morale.
• Conduct regular employee surveys and analyze results to identify areas for improvement.
• Organize and coordinate employee events, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and provide guidance on HR-related issues.
• Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication and recognition programs.
• Work with department leaders to develop and implement strategies for improving employee retention and satisfaction.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to inform retention strategies.
Additional HR
Duties:
• Assist with onboarding new hires, including orientation and training programs.
• Maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Support performance management processes, including performance reviews and development plans.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment and employee engagement.
• Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
