Adswerve is actively looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join the People team! As an HR Specialist, you will contribute to our fast-growing company by supporting programs such as onboarding, leave of absences’, office support and HR administration. We are looking for someone who is extremely organized and really eager to learn about the HR Operations function.

Responsibilities
Provide operational and administrative support to HR and Workplace Experience teams
Manage new hire onboarding process in collaboration with HRBP, Recruiting, and IT
Create first day agendas and meetings for all new hires (HR Orientation, Benefits Orientation, IT Set Up, etc)
Grant system access to new hires where applicable
Assist with HR Orientation and I-9 process for all new hires
Partner with the training and development team on the coordination and planning of the Adswerve Way and other company training events as needed
Update employee information within HRIS (UKG Pro)
Work with HR Generalist on leave of absences’ and additional support as needed
Partner with Director of Workplace Assistance to manage facilities related Seattle office: facilitating office tours, maintaining office upkeep, office supply orders, support Department planning sessions, and additional office support as needed
Assist Adswerve team members with questions about HR policies and procedures, benefits, payroll, etc.
Maintain confidentiality of all employee information
Perform special projects in areas of ad hoc administration, compliance, operations, and employee experience as needed
Managing internal communication in slack – posting necessary announcements, anniversaries, etc
Manage employee programs around outreach, engagement, and connectivity
Payroll assistance as needed
Assist with HR reporting and ad hoc projects
Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources or equivalent experience
Previous Human Resources internship -or- related Human Resources work experience
Working knowledge of HR related laws and regulations
Must be able to work independently and collaboratively
Must be strong in MS Office suite – word, excel
Experience working in Ultipro or a comparable HRIS is a plus
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential data
This position pays a base salary of $26.00 to $31.00 per hour. Wage differential is based on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, training and experience.
