Job Responsibilities:
Answers first level employee inquiries
Collects and maintains HR data related to compensation, benefits, training, recruitment, etc. to help make recommendations for improvement.
Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures.
Supports recruiting efforts by reviewing job descriptions, creating requisitions, advertising openings, and screening incoming applications.
Run market analysis for recruitment efforts.
Administers candidate assessments when applicable.
Ensures background checks and DOT pre-employment requirements are completed prior to employee start.
Oversees new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
Processes employee changes in HRIS as requested by management.
May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
Manages reconciliation and billing processes for benefit vendors.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
At least 1-2 years of relevant experience
Skills and Abilities:
Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization.
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
Must be able to multi-task.
Physical Requirements:
Requires prolonged periods of sitting at desk.
Must be able to use hands and arms for repetitive movements, such as movement of wrists, hands, fingers while typing.
May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 10lbs.
