Human Resources and Recruiting Manager

Allen Engineering Corporation (AEC) is seeking a qualified Human Resources (HR) and Recruiting Manager to be based in-person at its headquarters in Paragould, Arkansas. AEC’s HR and Recruiting Manager would be responsible for the overall satisfaction, well-being, and engagement of all AEC Associates based in Paragould and in the field. This manager would also be in charge of all recruiting efforts to attract, hire, and retain future associates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the overall well-being of AEC Associates in the workplace
• Recruiting qualified candidates for all open positions in the company, both local and in the field.
• Running and maintaining a full functioning HR department along with any necessary staff.
• Review and maintain company policy and procedures along with a full documentation system related to associates.
• Designing and maintaining a performance assessment system for all AEC Associates, along with documentation and record keeping.
• Designing and maintaining a training and development plan for all AEC Associates.
• Ensuring company compliance with all regulatory concerns regarding employees.
• Reviewing and recommending updates to associate compensation and benefits based on market conditions.
• Communicating to associates around HR issues and other matters as necessary.
• Developing and maintaining a robust onboarding and orientation for all new employees.
• Assisting with AEC Associate engagement around the vision, mission, and values of the company.
• Planning and executing all company functions that involve associates.
• Representing the company in the community at functions and events that tie into recruiting.
• Insuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations / laws as it relates to human resources.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or similar work experience required
• 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles preferred
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role preferred
• PHR/SPHR certification preferred

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly be required to sit, walk, and stand in an office and factory environment.

Compensation:
A competitive base salary plus standard medical benefits with optional dental and life insurance available. Long-term option for ownership in a sister company to AEC.

Pay: $19.00 – $46.00 per hour
