- 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role
- Experience implementing scalable HR programs and policies for global exempt and hourly populations
- Experience working with global teams, and driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for a global organization
- Knowledge of employment laws such as ERISA, COBRA, ADA, and other federal and state laws covering discrimination and equal opportunity employment

We are currently seeking a senior HR leader to help us build the speech and language AI solutions behind the Echo and other Amazon products and services that are changing our customers’ lives every day.
In this role you will partner with executive leaders as their trust partner to develop and execute HR strategies that are focused on diversity, equity and inclusion, talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement. To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work. You’ll help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention and the employee experience.
In addition, this role will be accountable for driving key initiatives and projects in areas such as such as on-boarding, employee relations, and management capability/ leadership development, as well as facilitating annual talent management processes. - Able to travel domestically and internationally, as appropriate
- Proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills, and drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative
- Experience in a high-tech environment
- Experience in executive coaching and assessing executive talent
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or MBA
- Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation and presentation skills
- Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization
- Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams
- Resilient and able to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high level of energy and sense of humor
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $154,700-209,300 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
