About this Position:
The HR Business Partner will partner with assigned business units, working directly with Management and Associates to provide guidance, HR expertise and direction from both the regional and local HR functions. The position develops partnerships across the Business and HR functions to support the businesses organizations goals, guidance on HR policies, supporting cyclical, performance, compensation, engagement and supporting the associate relations team as needed.
Responsibilities include:
Applies general understanding of all areas of HR programs and policies, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, HRIS, employee engagement and analysis to support the day-to-day needs of associates, assigned business units and HRBP mailbox.
Manage relationships with assigned business units and act as business partner to them, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, mobilizing appropriate internal resources to support in delivering business strategy and plans to tackle workforce challenges such as retention, associate morale, associate development through analysis of data, sentiment gathering, etc.
Provide coaching and guidance to Managers on how to address performance concerns and policy concerns. Escalate situations where formal corrective action or investigations are needed to the Associate Relations team.
Collaborate and participate in project teams (pay equity, total rewards, manpower, policies, and performance mgmt.) ensuring voice of customer is represented, balancing multiple perspectives and optimizing processes.
Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
Targeted range – minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience (3 years HRBP)
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Related field, HR Certification desired
Desired skills:
In-depth HR employment law knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Dealing with conflict and empowerment to escalate
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decision making
