JOB SUMMARY:
Like to work in sports? This is your opportunity to get involved with recruiting and hiring for the University of Alabama. We are seeking a highly motivated individual that is multi task oriented to manage the Andy Frain Services hiring process for the local Alabama Sports and Entertainment Division.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Report directly to Business Services Manager and work in unison with Business Services Manager, Operations Manager, and the General Managers to succeed in hiring processes
- Work with Business Service Manager, Operations Manager, Guest Service Manager and General Manager on creating a recruiting plan to make hiring efficient for all events
- Work with event administrative team in vetting and hiring staff (300+) for events
- Work within the community to build relationships and hire groups to staff them accordingly within the events
- Ensure that all employee files are compliant with state and federal laws and Andy Frain Services internal policies and processes
- Regularly meet with the administrative staff and to assess our performance and develop “best practices” or strategies to improve service and efficiencies
- Create and maintain current records on all licensed security officers in compliance with city and state regulations
- Assist in hiring and building the Administrative support team
- Maintain the branch Social Media page to drive additional presence online
- Assist the Business Services Manager in completing or delegating other administrative projects which may include setting up/hosting job fairs, recruiting support, etc.
PROCESSESS INCLUDE:
- Working with corporate recruiter to manage recruiting budget and online presence
- Download spreadsheets from multiple job sources and consolidate list to master applicant sheet
- Send out communications to applicants requesting an interview
- Conduct phone interviews when necessary
- Send interview reminders once confirmed
- Print out list of interviews daily
- Assist in the interview process and or organize support team for large events.
- Once offer is made, you should walk applicant through paperwork process.
- Maintain employment documents for new hires and modify as needed
- Submit background checks and conduct drug screenings onsite
- Maintain the applicant tracker to identify where the applicant is in the hiring process.
- Set up orientation schedule with applicant
