Responsibilities:
The Director, Human Resources, shall report to the Executive Vice President, Finance and Transformation, and be responsible for:
establishing and implementing HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company’s mission and strategic vision;
developing HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives;
functioning as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each line of business regarding key organizational and management issues;
collaborating with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention;
Planning, leading, developing, coordinating, and implementing policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support Aveshka’s human resource compliance and strategy needs;
administering and overseeing corporate human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development;
identifying staffing and recruiting needs; developing and executing best practices for hiring and talent management;
conducting research and analysis of organizational trends, including review of reports and metrics from Aveshka’s human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system;
monitoring and ensuring Aveshka’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviewing and modifying policies and practices to maintain compliance;
maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law and applying this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management;
facilitating professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff;
fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility across all levels of the company; and
performing other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree, but Master’s Degree or advanced certificates desired
Required Experience:
15+ years of progressive human resources experience
