Title: Human Resources Generalist II
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Range: $73,000 – 99,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data)

Purpose: The HR Generalist II will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping the company to plan and administer important functions, such as staffing, conflict management, training and development, and compensation and benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
Participates in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports
Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, source qualified candidates, and fill staffing requirements in a timely manner
Work independently providing full cycle recruitment support on requisitions
Utilize a variety of sourcing strategies to pipeline a diverse pool of candidates for each job opportunity, including a variety of electronic media and social networking
Represent Company at local and national career fairs including college, military, diversity, and clearance events
Effectively utilize the hiring processes, understand behavioral-based interviewing, ensuring appropriate audit trail
Determines employment applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements
Help develop and maintain talent and onboarding management processes.
Conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate
Collaborates with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment, and onboarding strategies
Research and gather data and networks with new recruitment resources, such as job fairs, websites and organizations and tracks sources for successful recruitment
Directs departments, divisions and hiring managers with employee recruitment and selection process. Ensures compliance with state/federal/local regulations are followed and ensures proper selection process is adhered to
Provide employees with interpretation of personnel policies and procedures to ensure proper compliance to rules, regulations, and laws
Helps listen to, document, and create solutions for internal employee conflicts
Assures discretion and confidentiality of employee concerns, records, and communications.
Process unemployment claims: filling out paperwork, communication(s) and documentation.
Assists with the administration of the employee benefit plan, including open and new enrollment and data entry accurately and timely to assure proper coverage
Maintain personnel files in compliance with state, federal and local laws as well as best practices. Ensures files are created, complete and in proper filing system. Completes annual audits to ensure compliance
Collaborates with the HR Director with special projects
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications/Education:
Three (3) or more years progressively responsible HR Generalist experience including: technical recruiting, employee relations, benefit administration, employee conflict management, and maintenance of employee databases.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
Knowledge of all applicable laws, regulations, and procedures.
Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides evidence that the applicant possesses the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
