Operations Manager

Reports to: VP of Operations

Overview:

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the products after the products have been released and approved for production by the Product Manager. Responsibilities include purchasing, packaging, quality control, on-time delivery, and inventory control.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

Purchasing, Logistics and Inventory Control:

• Manage production plan with supply partners, ensuring purchase orders are placed on time, according to forecasts and Sales/Marketing launch requirements
• Establish purchasing policies and procedures and ensure compliance, maintaining honest, fair, and ethical purchasing practices and relationships with vendors
• Maintain communication with factories, freight carriers and other pertinent parties to prepare and deliver purchase orders
• Communication of pack out instructions for all product
• Working with PM, Supplier and warehouse to ensure all product has proper labels, including care and content information
• Manage inbound and drop shipment of all product from overseas
• Control and track freight metrics with continuous focus on cost and delivery transit time.
• Analytical- statistical analysis and reporting on inventory, including aging and other applicable KPI’s
• Tracking and regular reporting of production information across departments
• Manage Inventory with applicable controls and issue resolution as required
• Manage the cycle count program
• Manage annual physical counts alongside Warehouse and Finance
• Publish and maintain management reports inclusive of (but not limited to) inventory status, on order details, delivery status as well as payment status per P.O.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,000.00 – $68,000.00 per year
