This position plays a key role in facilitating greater connection, communication, and consistency among the various departments at Lake Hart in an effort to increase our staff’s capacity to focus on the Great Commission.

For This Role:
Assistant to the U.S. LDHR Director:
Help coordinate the Executive Coaching Cohort Program by scheduling meetings, firming up the agenda, working with the U.S LDHR Director to develop the program strategy, and helping to create curriculum for the Cru leaders who attend these bi-monthly webinars.
Manage the U.S. National LDHR Director’s relationships with other top-level Cru leaders, LDHR professionals and staff throughout the ministry by scheduling meetings and phone calls when needed. Help create effective strategies for the U.S. National LDHR Director to have a regular cadence of communication with his team and other key leaders at Cru.
Manage the U.S. National LDHR Director’s correspondence, phone calls, email and calendar; respond for the U.S. National LDHR Director when appropriate. Meet weekly with the U.S. National LDHR Director to help determine priorities, set up a plan to accomplish tasks, and help delegate responsibilities.
Help create a monthly e-newsletter for all LDHR staff Cru-wide that includes new initiatives, HR updates, and leadership development tips in an effort to increase the level of communication between upper leadership and staff.
Help administer the BCWI feedback process and connect with HR reps to ensure that the survey is completed by their staff.
Coordinate regular meetings for the LDHR Executive team in person and by phone and schedule meetings with the CSE members as well. Work alongside the U.S. National LDHR Director to create agendas and coordinate speakers and trainings as needed. Take notes during the meetings and disseminate the information including action steps to the participants. Ensure that progress is made on projects by recording action points in a central place and then following up with team members for updates.
Serve the U.S. National LDHR Director in the SLI program and provide administrative support as necessary.
HR Coordinator:
Coordinate recruiting efforts as needed by participating in the referencing process to help fill U.S Exec. Team, LDHR, and other positions, schedule and conduct interviews and onboard new hires once they arrive. Conduct exit interviews to collect valuable input, process change of status requests, and complete the transfer process as needed.
Counsel with individual personnel; provide consultation to Director, Team Leaders, and teams to facilitate effective interpersonal communication; assist in ascertaining, evaluating, and finding solutions to human relations and work-related problems, including conflict and grievance resolution as needed
Review job descriptions for accuracy and help update them as needed. Ensure that performance appraisal/development tools and training are provided to the Director, Team Leaders, and team members; ensure that the administrative processing of performance appraisals is completed. Work with Team Leaders to identify performance gaps and ensure that technical and job-related skills trainings are provided for individual team members.
Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Identify legal requirements affecting human resources functions and ensure that the teams served are in compliance. Consult legal counsel when necessary.
Create and implement a strategy for improving recognition and morale for the teams served
Education and/or Experience:
4-year Bachelor’s degree in addition to 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous Cru experience is a plus.
