Summary
The HR Coordinator reports to the HR Supervisor. This role will primarily be responsible for providing overall HR and administrative support to the HR Generalists including, maintaining, and managing HR documents and records, maintaining personnel records.

. Assist employees with forms (PTO, W4 and direct deposits) throughout the shift
. Assisting in ensuring the timely processing of new employee hiring processes, transitioning processes from recruiting to the HR Generalists

. Compiles and prepares data for statistical reporting
. Answers employee requests and questions about policy and procedures and refers to HR Generalist or Manager as needed.
. Assists with implementation of HR Systems and Company Policy and Procedures
. Maintains HR related vendor files
. Assist with implementation of HR systems
. Acting as a liaison between employees, corporate HR / Administration, and other providers
. Resolving or escalating benefits-related problems
. Assisting with administering health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
. Assisting with the performance review and termination processes
. Support HR Manager in educating employees on and enforcing company policies
. Help with new-hire procedures: including organizing employee orientation, creating new employee files, administering employee handbooks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate persons
. Organize, maintain, and update employee HRIS information as needed
. Make sure all health and safety regulations are followed
. Assist in the employee termination procedures including advising employees on their rights and any benefits they are entitled to
. Make sure all employee records are filed correctly and kept confidential
. Abide by company enforced HR processes and current employment laws and regulations
. Update and keep employee records current.
. Help supervisors in assessing employee engagement and evaluation
. Maintain the HR team’s calendar (schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc.)
. Calculating the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system
. Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
. Research and email appropriate audience of file issues
. Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Previous Work Experience
. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR
. Minimum 2 years’ experience in utilizing Microsoft Office Skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Education and Certifications
. High school diploma / GED
. Equivalent work experience will be considered
