What You’ll Be Doing:
The HR Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives within all CarePoint Health facilities. As the Business partner you will formulate partnerships across the Human Resources function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Act as the initial Human Resources contact for employees, and will assist in the rollout of Human Resources initiatives
- Develop metrics, and analyze trends to develop solutions, programs and policies associated with Human Resources
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to track and report on open positions, including the position requisition/posting process, and reconciliation of requisitions system-wide
- Develop and deliver new hire orientation content for Corporate employees
- Work with leaders to create and review job descriptions when business needs dictate
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives across the healthcare system
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Research market compensation, including benchmarking of jobs on a routine basis
- Serve as a key change agent and culture champion
- Provide HR policy generation, guidance and interpretation
- Identify training needs for business units, and participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success
- Performs any and all other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For and What We Offer:
- Bachelor ‘degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of experience within Human Resources, specifically performing/exposure to multiple facets of Human Resources
- Experience within the healthcare space strongly preferred
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or ability to obtain either certification within one year of employment
- Strong business acumen and ability to pick up concepts quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to figure things out on your own, confidence, and competence to communicate with all levels of employees in the organization
- Ability to seamlessly transition between strategic thinking and tactical execution
- Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done
