Full Job Description
General Duties of the Job:
Understanding the business and its dynamics to help address the department and people needs.
Assisting with employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
Managing the onboarding process for new employees in order to accelerate integration into the company.
Providing guidance to frontline leadership as an HR advisor on staffing, employee relations, and performance management.
Collaborating with other HR colleagues and/or Center of Expertise (COEs) to implement HR programs.
Providing HR reports and ensuring accuracy and reliability of the data.
Comfortable working and walking in a manufacturing environment.
Collaborate with the Senior HR Generalist at the Charlotte Manufacturing Plant to complete plant-wide projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a HR discipline required; Master’s degree preferred.
2-3 years of experience in HR with a Bachelor’s degree.
0-1 years of experience in HR with a Master’s degree.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication abilities.
Strong analytic and diagnostic skills.
High sense of responsibility and integrity.
Proactive, self-motivated, customer-focused, and solution-oriented.
Strong computer skills (MS office) and HRIS a plus.
Ability to work within a team environment and independently as necessary.
Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task effectively.
Ability foster and maintain relationships with employees at all levels within the organization.
Ability to travel between the Concord and Charlotte North Carolina Manufacturing sites.
