We’re on the lookout for an experienced HR Manager who will oversee all HR activity for the US teams. This role is located in our New York City office on a hybrid basis.
What you will be doing
As the HR Manager, you’ll be the US HR expert providing guidance, support, and advice on a variety of HR disciplines. You’ll be working autonomously with one direct report to ensure that the HR operations are effective, and the people activities are executed in line with the UK calendar and strategic direction.
You’ll oversee the entire employee lifecycle for US colleagues, including Inductions, Employee Relations, Compensation and Performance Appraisals, as well as people operations including payroll, benefits and compliance. You’ll work collaboratively with UK partners, as well as maintaining close relationships with the US leadership and Store Managers. Travel to US stores will be required as necessary.
This role reports into the Senior HR Business Partner, based in the UK office.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional, someone who has high empathy and strategic approach. US labor law and experience handling US employee situations is required. You’ll be able to work in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with adapting to the needs of the business, and always maintaining a balanced and supportive perspective. You’ll be comfortable building relationships at all levels and lead with integrity to be able to effectively problem solve. Retail experience is ideal as you’ll be looking after majority retail colleagues, along with a small office team.
The successful candidate will be highly accountable for their business area and confident in ensuring all people activity carefully balances the CT brand together with the US market.
