Current Vacancy: There is one (1) vacancy with the Department of Facility Maintenance, Road Maintenance Division. This position is located at the Wahiawa Corporation Yard. This position supervises all road maintenance operations in Wahiawa district, where the problems of supervision and coordination are pronounced by virtue of the variety and scope of the Road Maintenance program which include construction, repair and maintenance of public works structures and infrastructure facilities.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience which demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Four years of supervisory experience in construction and maintenance work involving the use of heavy construction equipment.
Such experience must have demonstrated the knowledge of principles and practices of supervision; and the practices, methods, tools, equipment and materials used in general construction work; and the ability to plan, organize, direct and coordinate the work of subordinates; read, interpret and apply engineering plans, designs and specifications; determine time, labor, material and equipment requirements; and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other government agencies and the general public.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENT:
Valid appropriate driver’s license (automobile/Type 3), prior to appointment.
