POSITION SUMMARY:
The People Process Coordinator will execute the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including, but not limited to, administering benefits/pay, coordinating/scheduling interviews, on-boarding, posting job requisitions, and enforcing company policies and practices.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute Human Resource programs including, but not limited to, benefits, compensation, and leave; performance and talent management; recognition, and morale; and training and development.
– Schedules candidate screenings, interviews, and feedback meetings.
– Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications as part of on-boarding.
– Runs employee recognition program(s).
– Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
– Supports practices to maintain compliance with Federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
– Develops and runs value added HR reports.
– Supports payroll with processing wage garnishments, child support, and inputting new hires into HRIS system.
– Reviews timecards and relays errors to the local leaders to ensure accurate payroll processing.
– Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
– Generates and issues offer letters.
– Serves as backup for payroll and benefit administrators.
– Participates in any and all reasonable work activities as assigned by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience: At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
– Normal office requirements such as sitting while working on computer, typing, answering phones, and light lifting.
– Travel requirement of approximately 5 – 10%.
