The HR Specialist – HRIS s the subject matter expert (SME) for FBH’s HRIS system, Workday. The HR Specialist – HRIS has a detailed knowledge of all aspects of Workday and is the primary point person within Human Resources for configuration, reporting, testing, updating, and overseeing HRIS security management. This role is actively engaged in ensuring FBH utilizes Workday system capabilities and leads researching, solutioning, and resolving Workday related matters. The HRIS Specialist acts as a resource to other Workday users and leads and is involved in development of training material for Workday utilization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Create, modify and maximize business processes within Workday to support the policies, practices and procedures of FBH.
- Lead the bi-annual Workday releases process, including identification of update impacts to FBH, testing, preparedness, selection of optional upgrades.
- Act as a Names Contact Support to engage with Workday directly as needed Trouble shoot, problem solve and resolve issues that are identified by others or independently.
- Independently identify, initiate and complete self-education utilizing Workday resources, such as Workday Community and Workday Learning to stay abreast of changes, best practices and to assist in resolving challenges.
- Engage with finance, payroll, information services as needed to maximize Workday performance. Oversee HR Workday reporting, helping other to know of and utilize Workday standard reports are create custom reports as needed. Participate in developing training documents and job aides, provide 1:1 end user support as needed.
- Maintains familiarity with relevant laws, statutes, rules, language and trends as they related to potential modifications required for Workday.
- Proactively establishes and maintains professional and collaborative working relationships. Adheres to and ensures compliance with all FBH policies, procedures and practices.
- Maintains a focus on customer service so that both external and internal customers of FBH have a positive experience with FBH.
- Ensures the HRM and CHRO is apprised of all significant issues related to staff and HR operations. Support the overall HR department, serving as a back up to team mates and engaging in special projects or general HR support as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by HRM, CHRO and/or the CEO.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
REQUIRED:
- 5 years of HRIS experience.
- Two years of direct experience as a SME in a cloud-based human resource management software system.
PREFERRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Public or Business Administration or related field.
- Two years as a Workday HRIS Specialist
- Workday Certified Professional
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of Human Resource, Finance, Payroll and IS administrations to the degree required to understand how the interactions of these specialty areas come together within an HRIS system.
- Must be assertive in determining root cause of issues, digging deep into problems and developing solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical language and processes in a manner easily understood by a variety of audiences.
- Must be able to lead others in a positive, solution-oriented manner and display a positive, optimistic, accepting attitude.
- Ability to critically evaluate processes, procedures and performance in order to improve organizational operations and individual performance.
- Must have excellent organizational skills, be able to track and follow up on details while maintaining a comprehensive, broad overview of areas of responsibility. Ability to prioritize and respond to multiple, competing demands and adjust work priorities to meet unforeseen demands.

Pay: $62,595.00 – $76,258.68 per year
