Our client, a leader in the restaurant, beverage and liquor industry, is looking for a Employee Relation Specialist
Job Summary
The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the employee relations function for assigned multi-facility locations. Administration includes consultation on employee relations issues, the processing of disability-related matters when team members seek accommodation under the ADA, and facilitation of initiatives to foster a positive employee relations environment that aligns with the mission and values of the client. This individual is responsible to log all interactions in the case management system, following all procedures while maintaining employees’ confidentiality.
Responsibilities and Duties
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
Competence in employee relations, disability management, leave management, case management or human resources.
Working knowledge of legal issues related to ADA, FMLA, and state and federal leave laws
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Human Resources, or relevant field required
Minimum of three (3) years of Employee Relations or Human Resources experience required focusing on ADA related matter from start to finish as well as conducting investigations
