What’s a typical day as a Human Resources Assistant?
Provides HR support for staffing needs, including posting positions via BrassRing, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, conducting interview, making job offers
Coordinates and administers onboarding for hourly employees, partnering with other HR Team Members
Attends job fairs as needed
Attends daily/weekly production meetings as needed to support HR team in manpower planning
Administers associate training, and new hire orientation
Works cohesively with all functional organizations (at all levels) to deliver expected results consistently.
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
You may be a good fit for this position if you have the following:
2 years’ experience in HR, Staffing, or related field
Manufacturing experience strongly preferred, but not required
Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
Self-starting, results-oriented individual who is team oriented
Effective organization, time management, and verbal/written communication skills
Demonstrates a strong attention to detail
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
Willing to occasionally work additional hours to cover off shifts
