DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support for Packaging North professional office functions up to the regional leadership team level. Leverage established processes, tools, and procedures to support in a timely and thorough manner. Partner with enterprise Shared Services resources on issue resolution, as needed. Identifies continuous improvement opportunities, shares feedback, and develops solutions for trends
Oversee talent sourcing and acquisition processes for assigned groups. Leverage best practices, systems, tools, and processes to strategically source and select talent for teams. Guide leader decision-making in selection practices and drive continuous improvement in talent acquisition activities
Lead regional talent projects by building project charters, motivating project team members, and delegating to ensure delivery of workstream responsibilities in a timely and aligned manner. Embrace the role as a change leader and execute change management responsibilities to secure maximum success
Lead regional process mapping and standard work design in support of regional functional work uplift. Continuously improve existing processes to drive out inefficiencies and positively impact opportunity cost
Embrace role as a strategic talent sourcing and innovation. Maintain annual budget for sourcing and recruitment needs and ensure highest ROI for investments in sourcing strategies. Support career programs (internships, co-ops, career fairs, etc.) in partnership with Shared Services talent acquisition team
Serve as regional point of contact for reporting and analytics. Catalogue reporting needs across all sites and partner with Shared Services and regional HR team to deliver reports on an established cadence to drive business decisions
Operate autonomously to execute ad hoc and cyclical people processes in the areas of compensation, performance management, discipline, talent planning, talent development, and benefits administration for assigned groups. Seek methods to improve processes and service delivery
Provide performance management guidance to functional leaders (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Where gaps exist, leverage data to drive continuous improvement in leadership team capabilities
When needed, conduct thorough, objective, and timely investigations. Thought partner with functional HR and operations leaders to resolve employee relations issues. Shares trends, themes, and data to support sustained solution development and execution

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar discipline required and 3+ years of HR Business Partner / HR Generalist experience OR and the equivalent combination of education and experience
HR Acumen: Developed knowledge of HR processes and SME expertise in multiple HR disciplines
Ability to build relationships and trust with strong skills in coaching and mentoring
Analytical and problem-solving experience, with the ability to see hidden problems and look beyond the obvious for answers, uses data to make decisions
Experience with conflict management and influence – can bring others together and align forward
Solid interpersonal, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability and passion to engage with others authentically, establish trust, and build long-lasting relationships – influence at all levels
Experienced organizational and time management skills; multi-tasking and prioritizing, planning work activities efficiently to meet deadlines and high-level goals; managing multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
Masters’s degree in Human Resources and/or Industrial / Labor Relations
Previous manufacturing experience
Previous project management experience
Previous experience with innovative sourcing techniques
Previous experience with advanced Microsoft Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting, IF statements, etc.)
