JOB OVERVIEW:
M@C Discount buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The HR Administrator supports the HR team with transactional tasks. This position reports to the HR Manager.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process all Terminations in the system, including tracking and communicating account reconciliation factors to the team as well as Payroll
Complete and distribute all Letters of Separation according to policy and compliance.
Conduct periodic data audits (EEO, org chart, shirts, policy sign offs, etc.)
Run ad-hoc and periodic reports as requested by the HR Team (evals, terms, etc.)
Assist with Workers’ Compensation form completion under the direction of the HR Generalist
Learn unemployment and workers comp claims administrative tasks as backup support for the department
Perform clerical and administrative tasks associated with compliance, policy, and efficiency of the department
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
Complete additional tasks as assigned by the HR Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have an Associate’s Degree or higher plus one year of relevant experience
Must have characteristics of discretion and confidentiality
Must embrace change and challenge
Must have technical competence and proficiency in Excel and other MS products
Must have strong communication skills
Knowledge of, and experience with, HRIS or other ERP software preferred
