WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Momentum is looking for an incredible Director of Field Marketing to join one of the fastest growing teams in Momentum’s history. We are looking for a strong leader to help us manage an integrated team that will create brand experiences for one of the largest retail companies in the world. This person will be consulting and collaborating with our clients to bring our agencies best ideas to life across thousands of retail stores across the country.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Developing rapport with clients and their other agency partners through providing day-to-day client contact, managing the relationship & expectations, and troubleshooting conflicts with senior clients and team members as they arise
• Developing and managing client business as an integral member of the agency leadership team
• Planning and executing events for store openings and other client initiatives
• Develop comprehensive, custom training curriculum and facilitate ongoing and annual trainings for national field programs
• Oversee event-tracking system that monitors field activity, KPI management, and budgets, sharing weekly and monthly results with clients
• Ensure quality control of programs through market visits and spot checking (when applicable)
• Building, managing and reconciling project/event budgets
• Researching and developing all key performance indicators and metrics
• Providing education/training of field staff
• Demonstrating working knowledge of Momentum’s core disciplines and being proactive in growing client business across the agency
• Partnering with account and creative team(s) within agency and the client in developing, pitching and managing client business
• Manage and mentor direct report(s); fostering an environment of mutual respect and partnership, strategic thinking, appropriate risk taking, open lines of communication, on-going performance feedback, professional development and adherence to agency policy
• Supporting Momentum’s values
• All other duties as assigned

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 8+ years related experience in field marketing
• 3+ years agency experience preferred
• An entrepreneurial attitude. Pro-active thinking. Ability to drive thoughtful dialog, own a room and roll with the punches
• This Director needs to be a master tactician but a big thinker as well – both skills are necessary and required for the role
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and comfortable navigating ambiguous client asks
• Has hired and built teams from the ground up
• Experience in executing retail experiences and/or field marketing programs a must
• Successful and resourceful client manager with an ability to build relationships and business effectively
• Keen ability to identify opportunities and resolve challenges
• Experience managing/training/mentoring more junior team members
• Experience building and managing budgets
• Organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently between accounts and projects
