Nakedwines.com is revolutionizing how we enjoy wine by connecting everyday wine drinkers with the world’s best winemakers.
Our unique model creates value for American wine drinkers by solving independent winemakers’ biggest problems. Funding winemakers upfront allows independent producers the opportunity to produce amazing quality wine at substantially lower costs. Our direct selling model allows us to pass these wines on to customers at much lower prices than wines of comparable quality. On top of that our members benefit from direct and personal connection to the makers behind our wines, tapping into consumer desire for connection and provenance.
The success of this model has made us the largest direct-to-consumer online wine business in the USA, selling nearly 2 million cases a year to over 300,000 members. However, with an addressable market approaching $25bn and the wine category still at the early stages of online migration, we have the ambition to build a much larger business.

The biggest challenges independent winemakers face are access to capital and access to distribution and consumers – Naked Wines handles all of this. They connect the winemaker directly with their subscriber “Angels.” As a result, they can attract some of the world’s top winemakers like Jesse Katz, Matt Parish, and Daniel Baron, and support the discovery of the next generation of top winemakers.
Your purpose:
As the VP of Marketing & Sales, you will play a pivotal role in helping us be the number one online, direct wine retailer. You will help shape our company’s strategic plan through the development and execution of effective marketing strategies. Using your strong business acumen and a deep understanding of our mission and purpose, you will distil the essence of what problems we are trying to solve within the wine industry and develop a strategy for how we engage with customers (current and future) to care about them.
