JOB OVERVIEW: Assist the Human Resources Director in the efficient management and administration of the Human Resources function to include recruiting, training, benefit administration, execution of team member relations activities, in order to provide each department with the team, guidance and support necessary to achieve their guest service and business objectives.
REPORTS TO: Director of Human Resources
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Focus primarily on employee relations, talent acquisition, training and benefits.
• Create and Execute an effective recruiting strategy that will result hiring the best talent and providing an unique oboarding experience .
• Must work with H2B and J1 Visa process.
• Manage HR benefits processes including FMLA, Workers Comp, STD and LTD etc.
• Development and execution of training such as new hire orientation, hotel and company driven initiatives.
• Mentor managers and guide them on how to effectively handle employee relation issues.
• Work with Director of Human Resources in developing department policies, processes, systems and goals for department.
• Manages and executes health and wellness programs/events including benefits fairs and weekly/monthly team Members recognition activities.
• Manages, processes and communicates company benefits programs
• Organizes, examines and processes team member performance reviews.
• Assists managers in effectively completing and presenting disciplinary action documents.
• Generates and creates reports for projects as assigned.
• Works daily with the following systems: Microsoft programs, ADP PayForce, ADP RM, E-Verify and SmartBen.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

The right candidate will have a minimum five years of experience as a Human Resources Manager or Generalist, prior Assistant Human Resources experience a plus, experience in a full-service hospitality setting is preferred. PHR certification a plus. Proven leadership ability with a result driven mentality. Should have in depth knowledge of HR and development processes and related disciplines of training and development; employment law, health, safety and other HR related legislation; talent management including recruitment and retention and performance management. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. High level of computer literacy a must. Flexibility in work schedule a must, in order to support the needs of the business.
