About the role:
We are looking for a HR/Shared Services Coordinator that can bring excellent customer service skills and a strong analytical mindset to our People Service Center. You should be gritty and relentless as you seek the truth with a people first mentality. You are the face of the People Team and assist in creating a single point of entry for all employees on policies, processes & procedures, along with supporting the Benefits, HR and People Operations (Workday) team.
You thrive in a frequently changing work environment where flexibility is vital to your success. You have a love of learning and are a sponge for new information. You get things done and can explain complex ideas in a simple, straightforward way. This role reports to the Senior HR Manager.
This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, or Utah. Note, this list of states is subject to change. #LI-Remote
Responsibilities:
Triage the PSC inbox and support existing workflows for Benefits, HR and Workday
Review and respond to time away requests requiring HR approval within our HRIS
Conduct People Team orientation for new hires
Participate in change management efforts
Support employees and leaders on People team processes and systems
Escalate and troubleshoot issues to department heads/SME when necessary
Maintain strong stakeholder relationship
Execute on routine tasks i.e. I-9s/E-Verify/Background Check adjudication/Verification of Employments/
Provide end user support, participate in projects as delegated
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
2+ years of HR experience
2+ years experience in a support role working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Proficiency in G-Suite tools
Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and Word
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer first mentality
Demonstrates self-motivation and curiosity
Clear attention to detail and proven to have high levels of accuracy
The utmost discretion and tact in handling highly confidential and sensitive information
Highly flexible, adaptive, with a problem solving orientation
Capacity to work with a variety of work-styles and personalities
A proactive nature – always thinking ahead and “seeing around corners
Bonus points:
HR Operations and/or HR Generalist experience
HR certifications (i.e. SPHR, PHR, SHRM, SHRM-SCP)
Workday experience
Tech or startup environment experience
Experience providing administrative HR support to a fast growing company
