We are currently in search of a Director of HR to lead the HR team and support the HR needs of the community. This includes duties such as working closely with management to address employee issues, answering employee relations concerns, and participation in corrective actions or terminations when necessary. This individual will develop and implement HR related policies and procedures, work with the Executive team and broker to determine employee benefits strategies, represent Peabody in all unemployment claims, manage Leaves of Absence including FMLA. The HR Director is responsible for developing and facilitating training for all staff, championing Employee Recognition program, and managing the recruitment and onboarding program as well as focusing on retention programs for current staff. They have oversight for the Worker’s Compensation program including documentation, light duty and communicating with providers, adjusters and affected staff.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field as well as a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources. Experience supervising others is required. Experience working in the health care field is also helpful. This individual should have experience working with Microsoft Office products as well as working in an HRIS system, Applicant Tracking System, and In-Service Tracking System (such as Relias).
