HR Consultant/Generalist – Part-Time

We are looking for our next HR Consultant to join our team. We are seeking a committed individual who believes deeply in people and in helping them find their potential at work. In this role, you will typically work with our Senior HR Consultants to help elevate work, and deliver the tools and guidance that our clients need to propel their growth. You will support us as we provide a wide variety of customized HR services based on client need: compliance research, handbook development, onboarding, job description analysis, recruiting support, or anything else that will help our clients grow their business!

Here’s what you’ll be doing with us:

• Support our Senior Consultants as they work with multiple clients from different industries to help them achieve their business goals through building a great people environment and infrastructure

• Contribute to creating and executing the objectives, priorities and plans for clients

• Create critical deliverables for clients such as position descriptions, performance management systems, onboarding programs, and presentations

• Research and analyze current specific client issues or industry practices as directed such as turnover, low engagement, and poorly aligned/designed teams

• Participate in developing and facilitating employee engagement surveys, focus groups, and other data gathering sessions

• Support sourcing and recruiting when needed

Here’s what you need to bring to the table:

• Can-do and solution-oriented spirit to elevate our clients and our work with them

• 5+ years of HR generalist support experience

• Desire to work with multiple clients on a variety of projects at the same time

• Passion for people and the role that HR plays in elevating work and helping people love their job

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Technical knowledge about HR and employment law

• Desire for project-based work up to 20-25 hours per week

• Preferred experiences include benefits, compensation, recruiting and working in a variety of different HR systems

• Experience working as the primary HR point of contact in a small or mid-size company preferred

Hourly wage will range between $35 – $40 per hour.
