JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) contributes to the mission of Plymouth Housing by acting as a trusted consultative partner to their assigned departments and managers providing broad-based, professional human resources expertise. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all HR-related issues for their assigned departments and ensures a high level of customer satisfaction through timely follow-through, flexibility, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues and concerns. The HRG builds and maintains strong, effective relationships with managers to gain an understanding of each department’s unique operations, challenges, and needs. The HRG collaborates and works closely with other HR colleagues, especially Recruiter(s), Leave and Accommodation Specialist, Sr. Compensation Specialist, and HRIS and Benefits Administrator.
This is a regular, full-time, benefitted position.

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS
(Any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or an equal combination of education and relevant work experience.
Experience: Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a client-facing, consultative Human Resources role and/or a combination of relevant training and experience.
