Job Description: PrizePicks is looking for a high energy and dynamic HR Business Partner to provide support to the leadership teams and office based staff members. As an HR Business Partner, you will provide advice to leadership regarding best practices to maximize employee efficiencies. You will champion a diverse workforce throughout the employee life cycle. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement through performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote diversity awareness in hiring practices
Mentor managers on employee development best practices
Responsible for administering performance management program
Advise leadership on employee relations, hiring and terminations
Advise on payroll, employee benefits and FMLA questions
Provide guidance on employee behavior and conflict resolution
Conduct investigations in response to employee complaints
Partner with leadership to develop succession plans, staffing plans and employee development
Ensure employees follow all policies and procedures.
Assess reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs.
Assist HR and hiring managers with recruitment, assist with payroll processing and provide administrative support to all employees.
Manage onboarding administrative tasks including employee engagement
Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
General office administration including but not limited to mail sorting, filing, office events, scheduling, etc.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability with training and development programs
Expert in developing succession plans
Adept with performance management and investigations
Proficiency with employee relations and EEO
Education and Experience:
PHR, SPHR or other HR certification, required
Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or related field, required
5+ years of HR experience
