You’ll play a crucial role in putting the “human” back into human resources, fostering a supportive and engaging work culture that inspires our employees to reach new heights.
What You Will Do
Onboarding and Offboarding Expertise: You’ll be the wizard behind the scenes, ensuring a seamless onboarding and offboarding process for our employees. From collecting and processing new hire paperwork to conducting exit interviews, you’ll be the go-to person for all things onboarding and offboarding.
Compliance Guru: With your knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, you’ll maintain all HR & Payroll records in compliance, ensuring we’re always following the latest regulations and company requirements.
Benefits Maestro: Managing employee benefits programs will be your specialty, from enrollments to changes and terminations. You’ll also take the lead on year-end compliance tasks like the 5500, EEO-1, and ACA reporting. Monthly benefits audits? Piece of cake!
Leave of Absence Whiz: Handling leaves of absence will be a breeze for you. You’ll process leave requests, work with managers and employees, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Employee Relations Extraordinaire: As the HR Generalist, you’ll assist with employee relations matters, conducting investigations, and providing guidance to managers and employees to maintain a harmonious work environment.
HRIS Champion: You’ll maintain a close working relationship with our HRIS provider, resolving any issues promptly and efficiently until a resolution is found.
Legal Compliance Advocate: Stay up-to-date on local, state, and federal HR & Payroll laws, and ensure that all required law posters at our work sites are updated annually and as changes occur.
Reporting Pro: Providing weekly reports to Department Managers on new hires, terminations, and benefits & 401k eligibility will be a breeze with your organizational prowess.
Payroll Magician: Working with our Payroll Guru, you’ll verify and maintain accurate payroll records, review timekeeping information, and ensure all payroll changes are meticulously documented.
Unstoppable Problem Solver: You’ll be the go-to person for resolving employee payroll concerns, login issues, and more, guiding employees through the process until everything is resolved.
Event Planning Enthusiast: As an active leader on our volunteer & event planning committee, you’ll help create memorable and enjoyable experiences for our team.
