Jennie Joiner with Robert Half has a Salem, Oregon client seeking a Manager of Compensation for their growing healthcare organization. The Manager of Compensation will supervise a highly collaborative team of four and must be able to work in an environment where things are always changing, being adaptable as well as have excellent communication. What you get to do each day:
Provide day-to-day oversight of compensation staff and processes.
Ensure staff are adequately trained and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
Provide technical guidance on a variety of compensation programs and serve as an escalation point as needed.
Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders on program design recommendations and implementations.
Monitor the overall competitiveness and optimal performance of compensation through surveys, benchmarking and trend analysis and feedback from recruiting and stakeholders.
Ensure HR staff is informed about relevant compensation changes.
Collaborate with leadership at all levels forming a consultative and collaborative relationship in providing system-wide technical and consulting services on compensation systems issues.
Background/Expertise:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required or commitment to complete degree within 2 years. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of progressive leadership experience required.
Minimum of five (5) years experience developing and administering compensation programs. Minimum of 5 years overall HR experience
Strongly prefer experience based pay experience
Previous healthcare industry experience preferred.
Previous Lean Management experience preferred.
