PLAN REVIEWER I
Talbot County Department of Permits of and Inspections is seeking a full-time Plan Reviewer I to provide assistance to walk-in and phone clients, County staff and other organizations associated with permit, plan, code consistency, process requirements, issuance of building permits and associated trade licenses. Requirements: Graduation from an accredited high school with courses in office procedures and other relevant administrative skills, two years’ experience reading and interpreting construction plans and building codes, engineering scales, interviewing customers and successful completion of the ICC Plan Reviewer exam; or ability to obtain Plan Reviewer certification within 6 months. Required to drive county vehicle and travel within and outside the County. Salary $45,385 with excellent benefits.
