Overview of the role
The Senior Associate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to employee of the Trevor Project, to include integrating manual processes into HRIS systems, engaging other Trevor partners (to include People and Culture, Technical Services, and Operations) in the ongoing process improvement around new hire onboarding, and assisting with contingent staff onboarding and vendor management.

What You’ll Do
Contribute to our critical mission of ending suicide among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning young people, while fostering an inclusive approach to your direct work and engagement with Trevor colleagues across the organization
Continually enhance your LGBTQ competency and awareness, particularly as it applies to our New Talent Experience
Partner with Talent Attraction and Acquisition team to receive accurate information to facilitate new hire onboarding
Serve as central point of contact and onboarding SME for hiring manager and new hire questions during period between offer and day one orientation
Work with People and Culture subject matter experts to effectively integrate manual systems with new HRIS system (Ceridian) to minimize manual entry and improve candidate and staff experience
Partner across the organization to ensure a seamless and highly communicative onboarding experience, both internally and externally
Continually evaluate processes, systems, and communications to ensure best practices are being implemented
Serve as point of contact for contingent workforce and background check vendors
Action temporary staffing requests, and manage onboarding process for temporary staff
Partner with contingent workforce, background check, and HRIS vendors on new rollouts or enhancements that will impact recruitment
Other relevant tasks, duties, or special projects related to Talent Attraction and Acquisition and People Operations as assigned
