ULI Hiring for Driver CDL Class A Job at Remote Full Time

Utapa Logistics is looking for an experienced CDL-A driver.

Responsibilities

• Transport General Freight
• Be willing to drive a 26ft Box Trucks from time to time.
• Must be flexible and be able to work nights/ weekends.
• Be willing to do OTR depending on company needs.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Comply with trucking rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software KeepTruckin
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Must be able to mentor non-cdl drivers
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Valid truck driving license

Compensation

• $20-25 per hour depending on experience.
• Sign on Bonus after 3 months.

CDL Driver Requirements

• Must be willing to work nights and weekends
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) (no endorsements required)
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle
• Must have a reliable means of transportation to get to and from the garaging location
• Must have successfully completed a CMV road test and have been issued a valid certificate of completion
• No CDL suspensions or revocations
• No failed or refused drug or alcohol test in the last 5 years (this includes DWI’s, DUI’s and BAC’s)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Clean Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) Report
• Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to work 40 hours a week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
