At UpStream we believe good health is a state of independence where each person has the capacity to live a long, happy, and active life. We aim to deliver the type of care our members need to regain and maintain their independence by delivering effective, efficient, and sustainable care.
UpStream is a trusted partner to primary care physicians, helping them focus on what is most important, the patient. We support the delivery of value-based care for seniors and people living with chronic conditions. By working in partnership with healthcare practices and clinics we offer a comprehensive solution for physicians that delivers and sustains better outcomes.
How you’ll help
As a critical member of our growing People team, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be a trusted and strategic people advisor and coach that supports our teams and leaders. This role is responsible for connecting the needs of the business to people strategies and initiatives and ensuring that people strategies are always proactive, forward-thinking, and reflective of the growth trajectory of UpStream. As an HRBP, you will work closely with our managers and leaders to provide guidance and counsel on all people matters. This is a newly created role that will influence team member experience by architecting and executing people processes and partnerships that stimulate the engagement, retention, development, and performance of our team. This person will have the opportunity to build a structure and team to support our employee population as we grow.
This role will evolve over time (and you’ll have the opportunity to shape what that looks like) but initially you will be creating programs, education, and policies around key HR-related areas – everything from employee relations to performance management to team member engagement and more. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with developing and championing an innovative approach to traditional aspects of HR. This person will demonstrate a track record of building meaningful relationships across all levels of an organization. Well-developed interpersonal skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence and flexibility will be integral to success in this role. Ability to navigate within ambiguity, a service orientation, and a high level of humility are all requirements for successful assimilation into our collaborative, entrepreneurial and evolving culture. This role reports directly to the Chief People Officer.
