Overview:

Your role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional. You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing training, administering employee benefits and leaves and crafting HR policies. You will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. And you’ll also act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist in Talent Acquisition – Participate in the full cycle recruiting to include job postings, screening candidates, and post interview follow up.
• Conduct on-boarding orientation – Responsible for new employee orientation and onboarding for new employees.
• Assist in Employee Welfare Programs – Responsible for the administration side of employee benefit programs (group insurance plans, 401K, FMLA and COBRA) as well as company leaves.
• Maintains employee files manually and electronically.
• First point of contact for employees on all HR administrative matters regarding benefits, office supplies, and day to day company driver(s) schedule
• Prepare HR reports for management to include open vacancy list and internal organization charts

Minimum job requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration
• 3 years of Human Resources experience
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Problem solving and critical thinking capacity
• Able to maintain high level of privacy and confidentiality
• Experience in wholesale or retail recruiting
• Must have working knowledge of Federal and State labor laws
• Experience with Employment VISAS preferred
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize activities and drive results
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
