Under direction of the Public Works Agency (PWA) HR Manager, the HR Program Assistant provides personnel services to the Agency including conducting recruitment related activities, including preparation of recruiting materials, application review and evaluation, and preparation and evaluation of written and practical examinations; performing agency-specific classification and job specification analysis; performing position control; performing research and data analysis; as well as performing other duties, as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience providing human resources services, including experience related to recruitment and job analysis as well as exceptional customer service skills.
PAYROLL TITLE Program Assistant
The eligible list established from this recruitment may be used to fill current and future Regular, Temporary, Fixed-Term, Extra-Help, and Intermittent vacancies for this or similar positions only. There is currently one (1) Regular, full-time vacancy in Public Works Agency – Human Resources Division.
Program Assistant is a classification represented by the Management Resolution and is not eligible for overtime compensation.
