Responsibilities:

New hire orientation, terminations, payroll and administrative duties
HR Support
Enters employee related transactions into Workday
Partners with Recruitment Team
Acts as Point of Contact (POC) with local temporary agency contacts in support of contingent staffing needs
Maintain employee files
Develop an understanding of client’s HR policy and local employment regulations as well as staying abreast of changes that would necessitate a change to policies or programs
Partner with the corporate office to ensure compliance with HR related administrative initiatives and training
Works with site’s administrative staff to ensure safety glass requests are processed in a timely manner
Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration preferred, or 2 to 3 years of human resources experience in a manufacturing environment with preference given to candidates with experience in the semiconductor industry or other high technology manufacturing operation
Experience supporting a manufacturing site; focusing on supporting sourcing of talent to meet business needs
Ability to maintain confidentiality with personal and business related concerns
Ability to work well independently and proactively
Ability to work flexible hours to meet business demands
Demonstrated interest in building working relationships across the site to foster a positive, collaborative working environment
Demonstrated experience completing exit interviews and processing terminations including proper filing of exit documentation
Ability to manage the induction process to support high volume recruitment including prior experience with a contingent workforce
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Previous experience working with Workday, Kronos, or other HRIS systems required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
