Based in the greater Sullivan, MO area, this recruiter role is responsible for supporting recruiting activities in high volume hiring. This role will facilitate the recruiting process from reviewing resumes to being the company’s first contact to interview the candidate. This person will be the contact person to the hiring manager and make recommendations on whether the candidate should move forward to the next steps in the process. Maintaining database of qualified candidate for future placement via our HRIS is an important aspect of the position. This role may participate in community networking and hiring events as well as ensuring all paperwork conforms to company policies as it pertains to compliance practices.
*RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE RECRUITER: *
*Work with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
*Screen candidates assessing relevant past work experience and potential fit
*Create and ensure that communications are provided to managers and candidates in a timely manner
*Maintain strong interview notes to prepare the next round of interviewers
*Promptly respond to all candidates and hiring managers regarding inquiries and follow up in a timely manner on all request related to recruiting
*Develop oneself in becoming knowledgeable about the company, success profiles for open roles, recruiting and networking opportunities that yield candidates
*Proactively seek out candidates
*Identify innovative sourcing strategies and implement recruiting programs and practices that will expedite the candidate pipeline process and quickly deliver top talent
*Manage and post all openings on traditional websites as well as other social media outlets such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
*QUALIFICATIONS OF THE RECRUITER: *
*Education of the Recruiter*
Required: High School diploma; preferred: some college coursework completed; Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field
*Experience of the Recruiter*
Requires at least one (1) years’ experience in recruiting, human resources or related field in an office environment; experience in the retail industry
*Skills and Abilities of the Recruiter*
Highly energetic self-starter combined with a strong ability to work independently
Ability to perform a wide variety of duties requiring a general knowledge of related organization policies and procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong follow up skills
Excellent organizational, time management and computer skills
*Technology and Equipment Expertise of the Recruiter*
Required: Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite: Teams, Excel, Outlook
