WellClarity, is an advocacy company that works with employer groups, labor unions and individuals to provide affordable access to high-cost medications. The Patient Advocate works as the liaison between the patient in need, doctor, and/or Pharmacy Assistance Programs.

Patient Advocates are the primary point of contact for patients and clients that come to WellClarity seeking assistance. Advocates assist our members and clients with every step in the process from answering questions, collecting information, completing paperwork, and maintaining all prescription follow-up/refill communications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate to members, providers, and Pharmacy Assistance Programs who WellClarity is and how we will assist with obtaining prescription medications.
• Assist in determining the best option to access medications by performing using all available resources.
• Provide education and guidance to members on how they can access their medications by incoming telephone calls and making out-bound calls.
• Accurately prepare and track all paperwork necessary to submit new enrollment applications and renewals to qualifying programs for prospective patients.
• Maintain structured and timely contact with the applicant and needed agencies, by phone, email on structured intervals and via the daily work queue.

• Participate in additional training requirements in an effort to stay abreast of the ever changing rules and regulations associated with the various programs.

Qualifications:

• Customer service oriented and a willingness to help
• Well-spoken effective and efficient communication, both verbal and written
• Ability to provide detailed documentation
• Prioritization and solution-based thinking to find a result for our members and determine when to escalate a complex problem
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team
• Proficient with computers and comfortable with utilization of internet-based resources
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook
• 1 or more years’ experience in customer service
• Medical or Pharmaceutical experience and terminology preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,764.00 – $62,097.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
