Full Job Description
This position supports the facilities human resources recruiting functions. The HR Recruiter will assist with routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work and will engage in human resources recruiter functions and compliance related items. This position will also be responsible for recruiting, assisting with new hire employee orientation relative to human resources and helping to maintain orientation training records.
Job Duties And Responsibilities:
Technical:
Independently coordinate and manage recruiting process; review resumes, pre-screen and interview prospective employees.
Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, media and internet sites.
Post openings on job boards.
New hire processing/orientation
Establish recruiting plan by identifying company objectives; meet with managers to discuss needs.
Identify, organize and participate in upcoming job fairs.
Coordinate drug screens and background checks.
Employee relations as needed.
Interpersonal:
Coordinates communications between departments regarding recruiting items.
Develops employee relations centered on trust and teamwork.
Demonstrates a personality that works in cooperation with other departments towards building a sense of company teamwork.
Shows positive management skills and leadership.
Focuses on continually improving interpersonal skills as outlined during performance review.
