Office Assistant Position $16-$19 DOE
****This position will initially be focused on Human Resource tasks, so prefer someone with basic HR related experience***
**** This position requires availability to be present consistently during scheduled work hours and while supervisor is out of the office*** Remote work is not currently available
Administrative and Reception tasks are included and if interested, training in Construction Project Coordination/Management will be available.
o Assist President and Supervising Foreman with recruiting needs
o Maintain job postings in various online sources
o Schedule interviews
o Primary contact for potential and existing employees for HR related items
o Collect weekly timecards
o Review timecards for accuracy. i.e. job site, hours, time off, sick time
o Load timecard weekly into Teams software for payroll processing
o Create new hire packets
o Maintain copies for insurance and benefit packets
o Maintain apparel and safety gear inventory and order as needed
o Maintain employee information, safety certifications, and contact lists
o Assist with planning of company events and meetings
o Other tasks as assigned
o Filing, scanning, photocopying
o Collection of receipts from Foreman for purchase orders and scan into system for processing
o Assist with data entry as needed
o Maintain truck or fleet files and communicate needed maintenance to Foreman
o Other tasks as assigned
o Answer and field phone calls
o Welcome guests/walk ins
o Direct deliveries and receive packages when applicable
o Keep a tidy front reception area, conference room, and breakroom
o Inventory and order supplies for office and assist with orders for warehouse as needed
o Sort/distribute mail daily
o Assist coworkers with workstation needs and conference room set up
o Occasional pick up of office supplies, blueprints, or other materials

Qualifications
High school or equivalent
US work authorization
Human Resource experience preferred
Customer service skills/pleasant demeanor
Adaptable and willingness to take initiative
Basic math skills
Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office
Ability to learn new software
Reliable transportation/DL preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour
