The NEEDS Center is seeking an energetic dedicated HR Assistant to join our growing human services organization. The HR Assistant will work with the HR team to support many aspects of recruiting, managing staff trainings, filing, and perform other administrative tasks as needed. Our ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in human resources, but we are willing to train the right person. This position would be a hybrid of remote and in office work.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with completing background checks, references and credentialing for new hired employees.
· Update online job posting requirements when needed.
· Help organize and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs and tracking.
· Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation.
· Other administrative tasks as needed including periodic filing.
· Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field a plus
· 1+ years in human resources preferred
· Proficient with Microsoft Office required
· Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) a plus
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
