POSITION OVERVIEW
United Warehouse is hiring for an experienced people-oriented, Human Resources professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced and well-rounded in the areas of employee management, payroll, benefits, annual report filings and HR law to name a few. This individual will serve as the point person for HR related matters and assist senior management in creating short term and long term human resources objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Ensures effective administration of the compensation, benefits, pension, and incentive programs. Provides recommendations to Senior Management that ensure appropriate service delivery and effective cost management
• Ensures all human resource functions, including recordkeeping, interviewing, hiring, promotions, and terminations, are conducted in accordance with established Company policies and applicable legal requirements. Oversees compliance with related federal and state legislation
• Completes year end reporting related to W2’s, 1095-C and ACA
• Assist in human resource policies are updated and communicated to management and staff. Provides advice and interpretation regarding human resource policies as they relate to individuals and to Company objectives
• Assists and supports in personnel matters as needed. Resolves employee relations issues according to Company policies and applicable legal requirements
• Enter and maintain the payroll deductions for garnishments, loans, benefit deductions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience and education
• Knowledge of human resource laws and regulations
• Understanding of compensation and benefit policies and programs, employee relations practices, and recruitment techniques
• Experienced with payroll processing
• Three to five years of progressive experience in human resource positions
• Experienced with ADP payroll application. Preferred not required
