Job Summary:
Customer Service – Provide high-touch customer service to employees, managers, and HR partners. Communicate thoughtfully and with empathy and follow through on questions and issues until resolved. Primarily monitor and handle inquiries received in both the compensation and benefit email boxes and take full ownership of any matters related to medical leave of absence.
Leave of Absence Administration – Administer all activities for the review, approval, and ongoing oversight of all leave of absence programs. Coordinate with payroll on all leave-related pay programs (short term disability, parental bonding, NY Paid Family Leave, etc.). Maintain all documentation in Workday. Provide timely notification to HR Partners and Managers on leave matters as needed.
Benefit Enrollments – Review and process timely and accurate benefit enrollments within the HRIS system, including qualifying life events with proper supporting documentation. Participate in the planning and implementation of Annual Benefit Open Enrollment.
Billing / Invoice Reconciliation – Review invoices from each vendor / carrier. Conduct bi-directional reconciliation of invoice detail records between vendor / carrier and HRIS benefit enrollment data. Make enrollment corrections as needed. Prepare detailed summary reporting for Finance and ensure invoices are submitted and processed within a timely manner. Ensure accurate recordkeeping in support of SOX audit and control requirements.
Job Structure / Job Catalog Maintenance – Prepare and maintain job catalog, job structure and compensation structure. Facilitate changes and updates to Workday.
Commission and Incentive Payout Process – Support ongoing biweekly / monthly / quarterly commission and incentive calculations; serve as the subject matter expert on the commission and incentive calculation technology tool, including making updates and additions to commission and incentive program configurations; prepare and deliver timely and accurate incentive and commission calculations for audit and payroll processing; maintain all supporting documentation and recordkeeping for SOX audit and controls.
Documentation and Procedures – develop and maintain standard operating procedures for benefits administration. Ensure accuracy of employee-facing documents – plan documents, vendor contacts, benefit resources and other shared content.
