General Function
Perform a wide variety of general accounting and HR support functions in the accounting department of a Golf Club and Real Estate office
Major Duties and Responsibilities
– Process accounts payables and receivables
– Perform filing and general administrative tasks
– Administer HR processes and programs
General Accounts Payable & Accounting Functions
– Check, verify and process invoices
– Sort, code and enter accounts payable data
– Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
– Maintain vendor files
– Accurately enter data into computer system using defined computer programs
– Support cash management function
– Investigates questionable data and recommend actions to resolve discrepancies
General HR Functions
Processes various Human Resources Department functions including recruitment, onboarding, new hire orientation, employee payroll information, etc.
– Processing and administering payroll via payroll provider
– Assists employees and applicants with Human Resources related issues
– Maintains department records, files, and policy and procedure manual
– Prepares packages for General Orientation, Benefits, and New Hires
– Assists with Human Resources projects and provides administrative support as it relates to the HR function
Qualification, Skills & Requirements
– Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
– Competency in MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
– Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must
– Strong attention to Detail & Accuracy
– Problem solving
– Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
– Function in accordance with established standards and procedures
Education & Experience
– Associates degree preferred
– 2-3 years’ experience within an accounting department preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
