Current Vacancy: There is 1 vacancy with the Department of the Corporation Counsel, Real Property Tax Division. The position will be assigned to perform moderately difficult para-legal work assisting professional staff attorneys in real property tax matters and perform other related duties and assignments as required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from high school.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience involving the research, application, interpretation or explanation of laws, rules and regulations, two (2) of which shall have demonstrated a thorough working knowledge of legal procedures and terminology and the drafting, review and processing of legal papers and documents in a law office.
Substitution: An associate’s degree in a Paralegal or Legal Assistant program will substitute for three (3) years of general experience involving the research, application, interpretation or explanation of laws, rules and regulations. There is NO substitution for the two (2) years of work experience in a law office.
